Welcome to the ISKCON Siliguri website and companion mobile application. By accessing or using our website, APIs, services, and mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance and Scope
These terms govern your use of the ISKCON Siliguri platform, including donations, seva sponsorships, room bookings, and prasadam meal bookings. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the application or website.
2. User Account and Profile Security
If you create a user profile in our companion application, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete details (Name, Phone Number, and Email). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your local profile settings and device access. Any activity initiated from your device remains your responsibility.
3. Donations and 80G Tax Exemption
All donations made through our platforms are voluntary contributions. Donors seeking tax exemptions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, must provide a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) and correct personal details during transaction submission. We submit receipt files to the Income Tax Department based on these details. Receipts cannot be revised once filed.
4. Prasadam & Seva Bookings
Prasadam meal bookings and seva sponsorships booked through our platform are subject to availability. Meal booking vouchers generated are single-use and must be redeemed on the scheduled date. Meal bookings are subject to cancellation terms detailed in our Refund Policy.
5. Push Notifications and Device Tokens
By enabling push notifications in our mobile application, you consent to our collection of your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token and sending of occasional updates, festival notices, Ekadashi alerts, and seva reminders. You can opt out or disable notifications at any time via your device's app settings.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content displayed on this platform, including text, photographs, graphic designs, audio tracks, video clips, and database structures, is the property of ISKCON Siliguri or its content providers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may download or share content strictly for non-commercial, personal, and spiritual purposes, provided proper credit and attribution are maintained.
7. Prohibited Usage
You agree not to modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decrypt, or hack any portion of the mobile application or website APIs. You are prohibited from sending spam, executing automated queries, or testing vulnerabilities of our backend servers.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our website, mobile app, and services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. ISKCON Siliguri does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that push notifications will deliver instantaneously. Under no circumstances shall ISKCON Siliguri be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from transaction failures, network errors, payment gateway delays (Razorpay), or data loss.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.
